He’s played by Leonardo DiCaprio, who is indeed talkin’ to us. ![]() ![]() Over the last four decades, he’s conjured a world of goodfellas and raging bulls, boardwalk imperialists, and paranoia-laced taxi drivers-“You talkin’ to me?” Yet he has never made anything fueled with so much high-octane testosterone as The Wolf of Wall Street, the often hilarious, constantly gross, and frequently redundant three-hour portrait of Jordan Belfort, a gleefully crooked real-life 1980s–90s stockbroker. Martin Scorsese is Hollywood’s great chronicler, and devotee, of run-amok masculinity.
